How Dental Handpiece Repair Works
Three simple steps. Most repairs completed and shipped back within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.
Get Your Free Shipping Label or Mail Kit
Choose the option that works best for your practice. Option A: Fill out our online form and receive a pre-paid shipping label by email in minutes — print it, pack your handpiece, and drop it off. Option B: Request a free mail kit delivered to your office with protective packaging, a repair form, and a pre-paid return label already included.
Ship Your Sterilized Handpiece
Sterilize your handpiece per CDC/OSHA guidelines and leave it in the sterilization pouch. Place it in a sturdy box (not a padded envelope), attach the label, and schedule a pickup or drop it off at any FedEx, UPS, or USPS location. Shipping is completely free.
Receive Your Repaired Handpiece
Our factory-trained technicians diagnose the issue and contact you with a detailed, free estimate. No work begins without your approval. Once approved, we repair your handpiece with precision-manufactured parts, performance-test it under load, and ship it back — typically within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. Every repair is backed by our 9-month warranty.
Our 10-Step Repair Process
Every handpiece that comes through our facility follows a rigorous 10-step process to ensure it performs like new when it reaches your hands.
When your handpiece arrives, we begin with a detailed visual and mechanical inspection, documenting the condition and identifying all issues. We then contact you with a comprehensive estimate that breaks down exactly what needs to be done and what it will cost.
Once approved, we completely disassemble the handpiece, ultrasonically clean every component, and replace all worn parts — bearings, O-rings, seals, turbines, gears — with our own precision-manufactured components that meet or exceed OEM specifications. We reassemble the handpiece, lubricate per manufacturer guidelines, and perform a full battery of tests including chuck concentricity, air/water line function, and performance under load.
The repaired handpiece is then polished, documented, packaged securely, and shipped back to you with tracking information. The entire process — from receipt to shipment — typically takes just 24 to 48 hours.
